Q&A: Do I Use the Reiki Distance Symbol in My Practice?

Reiki includes several traditional symbols, and one of them is specifically known as the Distance Symbol used for work across space and time. Yes. In my Spiritual Diversity Magic practice, I use my client’s name and date of birth, and a photo if they choose to provide one, along with the Reiki Distance Symbol. These details help me set intentions, and they create an energetic link so the session is directed to the right individual whether they’re across town or across the country. Distance Reiki is effective when it’s done correctly. For me, the Reiki Distance Symbol is one of the tools that allows me to connect with clients easily, so I have accurate remote Reiki sessions for people who cannot be physically present.
